Diving Xcalak proprietor, Luis Batun, is a third-generation native of Xcalak with intimate knowledge of the reef. Luis has been a scuba dive master for more than 30 years and customizes each dive to accommodate the desires and skill levels of his clients. This means you see and experience what you want, when you want. This is what sets Diving Xcalak apart from – we are not a dive shop, we offer private scuba diving, snorkeling and other water experiences at an affordable price.

While there are many beautiful places to scuba dive in Mexico, Xcalak is the undiscovered gem of the Caribbean. Diving Xcalak is located on the shores of the Xcalak Reef National Marine Park, a unique reef system with beautiful dive sites.
What makes scuba diving in Xcalak special is that it is undiscovered. In the sleepy fishing village of Xcalak, you will not experience troves of tourists or be inundated with tacky trinkets and loud bars. Xcalak lies along a beautiful stretch of coastline located just six hours South of Cancun.

Diving Xcalak prides itself in offering a relaxed, custom, low-cost experience. What you will not find here are large boats with dozens of divers led by young, inexperienced dive masters with limited knowledge of the dive sites and complex reef system in Xcalak.
